Jelly Roll was struggling with an illness just days before the public learned that he and his estranged wife, Bunnie Xo, were splitting up after nearly 10 years of marriage. In a TikTok shared on June 11, the “Son of Man” singer revealed he had sought treatment at a hospital while on tour with Post Malone. News of his filing broke on June 15.

Jelly Roll gave fans an update on his health while on the road in the resurfaced video, which revealed that he had to miss part of a show for the first time on the tour.

“So, I went to the hospital last night in Charlotte, North Carolina,” Jelly Roll told viewers. “Shout out to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show.” The “Need a Favor” singer revealed that a sinus infection left him “puffy-faced,” and doctors gave him “a bunch of steroids” as treatment.

The singer praised Post Malone for checking on him during his recovery, sharing, “The next night, he sends me a big flower bouquet.” He showed a message from the “I Had Some Help” singer that read, “Get well soon, Mofo! Love ya.”

“I love you Post, when I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the nicest human in the world. I’m not making that up,” Jelly Roll gushed, calling his fellow musician the “most normal dude in the world.”

The news of Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s divorce broke on June 15, about a month after he filed to end their marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Just hours before the public learned of their split, the “Dumb Blonde Podcast” host shared a sexy photo of her posing in baby pink lingerie with a bold underwear cutout as she reassured her fans, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
