A Homemade Scrub for Radiant Skin
With just a few kitchen ingredients, you can create a gentle scrub for your skin.
In a small bowl, mix 15 ml of fresh lemon juice (about the juice of half a medium lemon) with 0.5 g of ground cloves (approximately ⅛ teaspoon). Then, add 12 g of sugar (1 tablespoon) and 10 g of honey (about 2 teaspoons). Mix well until you achieve a uniform texture.
The sugar helps exfoliate dead skin cells, while honey provides softness and comfort. Lemon offers a refreshing sensation, and cloves delicately scent the mixture.
Gently massage it onto your skin, then rinse with warm water.
As with any homemade preparation, it’s advisable to test it on a small area of skin first and not to use this treatment too frequently.
A Fragrant Infusion for Cozy Moments
When the days turn chilly, a warm, aromatic drink can be incredibly soothing.
A lemon-clove infusion is easy to prepare.
Heat 250 ml of water until it simmers. Add 3 to 4 whole cloves and let it steep for 10 minutes, covered.
Next, add 10 to 15 ml of fresh lemon juice (about 2 to 3 teaspoons) and, if desired, 7 to 10 g of honey (about 1 to 2 teaspoons) to sweeten the flavor. Mix and enjoy hot.
This warm drink releases a comforting aroma and fits perfectly into a cozy routine during winter days.
