A Remarkable Natural Stain Remover
Whether it’s sweat stains, everyday mishaps, or food marks, vinegar can also serve as a natural stain remover. Its action helps lift stains without excessive scrubbing, preserving the integrity of the fibers.
Apply 1 to 2 tablespoons of white vinegar (15 to 30 ml) directly onto the affected area, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, and then rinse with warm water (30 to 40 °C) before washing. For light fabrics, a quick soak in three liters of warm water mixed with 250 ml of white vinegar for 30 minutes can also revive brightness without dulling colors.
Softer Clothes Without Fabric Softener
If your laundry feels rough even after using fabric softener, vinegar can make a significant difference. While traditional products may leave residues, vinegar cleans deeply and naturally softens fibers.
Dilute 150 ml of white vinegar with 300 ml of water and pour the mixture into the fabric softener compartment of your machine. The laundry will come out soft, pleasant to the touch, and free of static electricity—a particularly appreciated benefit for sweaters and sheets.
Preserve Colors and Brightness
Over time, white clothes can become gray and colors may fade. Vinegar helps eliminate deposits responsible for this dull appearance and contributes to maintaining the visual freshness of your laundry.
