Alex Drummond’s baby boy already has the cutest welcome party under his tiny cowboy belt.

The Pioneer Woman’s daughter shared photos from her baby sprinkle over the weekend and the whole thing was about as fitting for a little Drummond boy as it gets. The theme was “not their first rodeo,” which is just perfect considering Alex and Mauricio are getting ready to welcome their second baby. (It’s also pretty fitting for the Drummond grandbabies in general, since Sofia made her own rodeo debut when she was just a newborn!) There were cowboy hats tied with blue ribbons, a “baby sprinkle” sign, a little rocking horse by the front door, and plenty of blue to celebrate the newest little cowboy on the way.

“Boots & BBQ for two little cowboys coming soon!!! 🤠🩵👶” Alex wrote on Instagram. “Shoutout to our besties for throwing us the most PERFECT sprinkle for baby boy 😇 feeling so real that we are about to welcome baby brother to the crew!”

Alex also explained on her Instagram Stories that the party was combined with close friends who are also expecting a baby boy just one month apart. Their little girls are six months apart, too, if you can believe it! Matching life chapters, matching baby boys, and a matching reason to eat barbecue. No complaints here!

Of course, the family photos were just as cute as the party itself. Alex posed with Mauricio in front of the cowboy hat display, and there were sweet pictures with Ladd, Paige and her husband, David, as well as Todd and his “friend” (as Ree has been known to call the Drummond kids’ boyfriend/girlfriends 😂). Ree missed the celebration after having a root canal the day before, which is certainly not how anyone wants to spend a baby sprinkle weekend. But something tells us Ree Ree will have no trouble making it up to her newest grandson with plenty of love once he arrives!

“Love this crew!!” Alex wrote over one family photo. “Missing Ree Ree who had to have a root canal on Friday 😂🦷🫶.”

Even without Ree in attendance, the day looked full of people who love Alex, Mauricio, and their growing family. And now that baby boy’s sprinkle has officially happened, the whole thing is starting to feel very real. Sofia is going to be a big sister very soon and there’s another little cowboy joining the crew!
